Sports career

Walker currently plays for Allsvenskan side GIF Sundsvall. He formerly represented AIK, moving to GIF at the end of the 2011 season.[2] Son of the former Örebro SK manager Patrick Walker, Walker and his brother Robert are also eligible to represent the Republic of Ireland.[3]

A few of Walker's league games for GIF Sundsvall were moved to avoid a clash with his television commitments during Idols.[4]
