"An App a Day"

"An App a Day" is the thirteenth episode of the fourteenth season of the animated sitcom Family Guy, and the 262nd episode overall. It will air on Fox in the United States on February 14, 2016, and is written by Anthony Blasucci and directed by Mike Kim.

Plot

At the Drunken Clam, Peter and Quagmire argue over which singer is singing on a jukebox where Peter claims that it's Billy Joel while Quagmire states that it's Daft Punk. Cleveland solves the argument by using a mobile app on his mobile phone identifying the song as Daft Punk's "Around the World," making Peter learn about phone apps and he takes an interest in them. Peter starts getting on apps as he plays a bowling game while in bed with an annoyed Lois, takes a regrettable vacation, and meets up with a guy in a public bathroom to eat a meatball sandwich. Peter's phone eventually breaks because of the app overload and gives it to Chris.

At school, Chris sends a girl he has a crush on named Marcie Miller a picture of his genitals through his cell phone based upon advise from Neil Goldman. Chris starts to do it as it cuts away to a black background with the names of different people who did this. This lands Chris in Principal Shepherd's office with his parents and Joe Swanson. Despite their assurance that Chris will apologize, Joe tells him that this act of "child pornography has made him a sex offender much to Lois' chagrin. When the news of Chris' blunder gets out through Tom Tucker, Chris is told that he must take a rehab course, which is taught by Quagmire. Despite Chris' dislike of the class, he passes it, but Chris finds himself snubbed by society due to his sex offender act and when he visits Quagmire to tell him about it, the latter tries to tell him to get use to it.

Meanwhile, Stewie asks Brian to drive him to the Quahog Raquet Club to play tennis. When they arrive at the club, Brian becomes interested in playing tennis, elating Stewie to sign them up for the upcoming couples tennis player game. On their first practice course, Brian gets distracted by women. Pretty soon, Brian's inexperience with tennis starts to show and this causes Stewie to get mad at him, but Brian soon begins to get better at it.

Chris decides to chemically alter himself into a well-behaved, calm, diligent teenager via pills, much to his family's dismay. Peter then eats the meatball sandwich in the same way again. Peter attempts to get him to reconsider his choice by taking him to an orgy, to no anvil. Peter and Lois eventually discover a silver light to the situation when Chris becomes exceptionally inelegant. At the local library, Chris reads a book with Marcie Miller who stated that it was her father who saw the pictures and ratted him out. When she touches him, Chris' genitalia acts up as both of them get a strange feeling. This causes him to make a beeline for the bathroom, causing him to kill the librarian. Chris regresses to his previous self.

On the day of the tournament, Brian and Stewie get a penalty and this triggers an anger bomb on Stewie as he begins swearing at the referee and losing his temper on him, causing Stewie and Brian to be thrown out of the club by a security guard who stated that he thought his ball was in.

At the Griffin's house, Peter and Lois are happy that Chris is back to normal where it was mentioned that the librarian died upon seeing Chris' genitals. Meg states that the librarian was working there for 50 years with Peter stating that the librarian got to see his genitals before taking a dirt nap. When Peter asks Chris if his claim of chemical castration is the real lession, Brian states that shouldn't the lesson involve being happy on the tennis court. Peter asks Brian where he has been.
