Monsters Unleashed is a 2017 Marvel Comics storyline.

Production

The storyline involved the Marvel heroes coming together to fight every monster in the Marvel Comics universe.[1]

Plot

Main plot

Kei Kawade is shown drawing pictures in his room. Elsewhere in the world, Monsters have been appearing upon falling from the sky. As the Avengers fight an unidentified monster in Boston, they are told by Vision that the same incident is happening in other parts of Earth. The X-Men are shown fighting an unidentified monster in London, Black Panther and Shuri defend Wakanda from an invading monster. When an unidentified monster savagely attacks Groot in Seattle, the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy come to his aid. The Inhumans are locked in combat with an unidentified monster in Venice. While the Champions take down a monster in Los Angeles with Ms. Marvel stating that they need a monster expert on their team, Moon Girl works to solve the problem. While in Peru, Elsa Bloodstone finds a prophecy in the ruins there that tell of a prophecy that tells of the Monster King that all the monsters fear. Upon sneaking outside of his house to find out what is happening, Kei Kawade is then ambushed by some monsters.[2]
