Hello Fellow Editors, I am a relatively new and infrequent contributor, and am hesitant to just make a change to an article that has already had so many revisions. I'm wondering if it's correct to call Hanna the third senator from Indiana. I propose that he be called the fourth. James Noble and Waller Taylor were the original and first two, from 11 Dec 1816. Taylor was re-elected in 1818, but was replaced by William Hendricks, who took office on 4 Mar 1825. I think he would be listed as the third senator, as Hanna did not take office until 31 Aug 1831. Please let me know what comments you might have, and thanks for letting me participate. Maine.Township (talk) 17:07, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
