NPOV
[edit]NPOV, anyone? ---Moham —Preceding unsigned comment added by Moham (talk • contribs) 00:00, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Truly, I do believe this may be in need of some major cleaning up. 216.250.6.13 21:38, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
I have gutted the useless POV statements and most of the non-sourced crap clogging this article. The leftovers are not much. Perhaps someone who knows him/cares can expand this article? Wtbe7560 21:42, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Homosexuality?
[edit]Someone doublecheck the gay stuff. This article seems like it was written by someone who has a hate on. Nothing wrong with being gay, as long as it's accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.108.27.221 (talk) 05:34, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
- Definitely was not sourced and was intended to be harmful. Freikorp (talk) 19:37, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Clean up
[edit]I've done my best cleaning this article up, I can't find a source for the chart success of his single which was put there by someone else, if any one else can be a legend and include it, cheers. --Freikorp (talk) 16:19, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Obviously I have found this now, I believe everything notable he has ever done is now included in the article. Freikorp (talk) 19:39, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Freinds?
[edit]I have removed a recently added list of his 'friends', I don't think it is appropriate to include a generic list of people he is 'friends' with without providing any other information such as how they met. I notice fellow crazy town band member 'epic' and fellow sober living contestant 'mary carey' were listed as his friends amongst others. Would it be appropriate to record this information like "he maintains a close friendship with fellow crazy town singer epic"....etc? I have not done this myself as I am unaware who he hangs around with in his free time.--Freikorp (talk) 09:40, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Relations
[edit]He has a sister, Mieke (pronounced "Meeka") Binzer, who is married to No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.200.247.246 (talk) 03:03, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Career section
[edit]The last paragraph in the career section is terribly written and definitely needs to be cleaned up. I would if I knew anything about this dude. 76.104.192.205 (talk) 23:02, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed, I just removed the whole thing, too much information, poorly written and unreferenced, nothing worth saving there. --Freikorp (talk) 18:50, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
Rolling Stone interview
[edit]I was about to correctly format the references listed here, when I noticed the rolling stone interview reference is dead. I was the one who added the reference and wrote everything attributed to it; I can personally vouch for everything there. I'm assuming as it was a February 2001 interview the printed version either appears in the Feb or March 2001 of Rolling stone. I'm not going out of my way to get a copy, but I'll keep an eye out on my frequent second hand book store tours, and hopefully I'll be able to update that with a hard copy. Freikorp (talk) 01:39, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- Updated - the interview appeared in the March 15 issue, issue 864. Freikorp (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 02:38, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Coma
[edit]Were drugs or alcohol involved in Binzer's 2012 coma? Usually these things are not Wikipedia-worthy, but whether we like it or not, it's completely relevant, as his battles with vices have been so public. I Googled it and could not find any information.- Mdriver1981 (talk) 21:18, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
