List of equipment of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan
[edit]Hey I see you removed alot of weapons from the list, I don't know if you saw the sources which were mostly images or videos showing Afghan Soldiers wielding those specific weapons for example the PKM. Also I believe you have mistakened the AKM for the AK47 which is a very common mistake (practically every video game calls the AKM the AK47). Thanks for your contribution to the anti aircraft section though. Fortnitegamer3432 (talk) 21:04, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- I removed them per WP:GUN-USER "When listing users of a certain weapon, only include users that have a citation to go with them. This citation must specifically say that the force, unit, or notable individual in question uses the weapon. That is to say a photograph of someone holding what appears to be the weapon does not qualify as a reference." Besides, Jane's (a pretty reliable source) specifically mentions the AK-47. Mr. Komori (talk) 21:09, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- "appears to be the weapon" anyone who knew anything about guns would know thats a PKM, anyhow you were right about the AK47 in this image the soldier on the left has a AKM while the one of the right has a AK47 Fortnitegamer3432 (talk) 21:24, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- Image hosting services they fall under WP:UGC, that's Wikipedia's policy, not mine. Mr. Komori (talk) 21:35, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

Removal of unsourced entries
[edit]Looks like you actually removed the entries at Humvee here because they are unsourced (with old tags too). Flag icons are appropriate in the Operators section. Regards -Fnlayson (talk) 01:06, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
CS1 error on International rankings of Pakistan
[edit]Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page International rankings of Pakistan, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 22:26, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

December 2023
[edit]Hello, I'm Geardona. I noticed that you recently removed content from Libyan National Army without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Geardona (talk) 00:33, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- Well actually I was removing duplicate content after I added the same content on a wikitable. Mr. Komori (talk) 00:37, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
Resources
[edit]I noticed you removing Global Security citations and replacing them with Jane's (thanks!). If you need access to yearbooks online, I've compiled a list of Jane's yearbooks hosted on the Internet Archive. Best, Schierbecker (talk) 17:36, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
Removal of SIPRI sources
[edit]For some inexplicable reason, you have removed the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute database as a source on BTR-152. I'm not sure that this is any less of a reliable source than Jane's or the IISS; certainly it is not an accurate indicator of how many vehicles are currently in service, but is a useful source for how many were originally in the inventory of former operators. I'm all for varied sources and see no reason to "standardize" uniformly on Jane's and the IISS footnotes, which seems to have been an unstated objective of your latest contributions there. Katangais (talk) 05:10, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- Personally, I think it's an excess of intricate information that may interest only a particular audience, but if you insist on putting them back on, I'm not opposed to it. Mr. Komori (talk) 07:38, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
