Laxshmipur

There is no city by the name as Laxshmipur in Odisha. Moreover no hits on Google news.May even be a hoax. Lakun.patra (talk) 09:52, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

comment - There is a page named Lakshmipur (Odisha Vidhan Sabha constituency) which redirects to Laxmipur (Odisha Vidhan Sabha constituency). I can also find references to a Laxmipur village in Odisha [1]. It is possible this article is about that village and the title is misspelt, in which case it should be renamed and refs added. comment - In that case I think it better to be redirected to the constituency rather than creating a separate article for the village as the village is not notable enough to have a separate article. The spelling differences might be because of the difference between colloquial and English language difference. Keep -@Lakun.patra: Notability of 'legally recognized populated geographical places' is determined by WP:GEOLAND, so the village 'Lakshmipur' is "notable". In the meanwhile, I've expanded, renamed and added refs to the article (diff.). I think, you should consider withdrawing your nomination now.
