Cognate with Kamta আমি (ami), Bengali আমি (ami, I), Nepali हामी (hāmī), Hindi हम (ham), Urdu ہم (ham), Punjabi ਅਸੀਂ (asī̃), Marathi आम्ही (āmhī), Konkani आमि (āmi), Odia ଆମ୍ଭେ/ଆମେ (āmbhe/āme).
