We never find out the exact aftermath of Silco’s factory blowing up in canon, but for my AU the episode 3 incident leads to a more violent uprising like the bridge 2.0… I assume there are newspapers in the world so while in Bilgewater, Powder learns from the news about the 2nd undercity uprising and that Vander’s dead. Nothing about Vi since she’s not important for journalists to cover, and because of that Powder doesn’t know Vi’s status. I think her headspace over the years is sort of like, there’s hope that Vi is still alive out there but she can’t work up the nerve to go back to Zaun herself to confirm whether or not Vi is actually fine.

Sorry this is probably not the answer you’re looking for but I honestly don’t have any ideas for that 😭😭 I know it’s a pretty common AU but… for me it’s associated with people that just want to make Silco a straightforward one dimensional villain so… I don’t want to think about those things
My brain is just 100% Silco pilled so for any AU my first thought is “where is Silco in this”. Well in this case he’s probably just 100% going down the drug kingpin with no sympathetic values anymore and that makes him quite boring. Or in the case that Jinx betrays him later to join Ekko, I’d rather not think of even more painful scenarios LMFAO he suffers enough in canon
