Melissa and Heder’s wedding was gothic romance themed day in September. The couple exchanged vows at the St. Francis Chapel, an architectural gem tucked inside Balboa Park’s Museum of Us. “We love history, art, and architecture, and our venues reflect that,” Melissa says. “The chapel looks like something out of an old Catholic church, but it’s actually an exhibit. It’s unconsecrated, which made it feel like we were bending the rules just a little.”

This goth inspiration shoot was all about chic black on black with hints of red and sparkle. Think skull rings, studded heels, ultra lush and dark paperie, aged paper and faux fur, and even a SNAKE! At Atlanta Utility Works on Halloween weekend, Mikey and Megan were married in a small wedding that mixed their love of both gothic and bohemian styles. The couple blended Mikey's favorite colour, purple, with Megan's love for black, creating a rock n' roll yet romantic atmosphere.
