CHIP - ICONIC WODDEN ANIMALS

CHIP is a series of three ironic wooden animals, made from the same oval shape. Through a process of turning and milling, the natural oak takes the form of a penguin, an owl and a whale. Simple but classic at the same time, it is hard not to fall in love with them.

Incipit Designers | Tommaso Caldera – Incipit lab —Objects & home accessories, designed and made in Italy
Born in 1986, Tommaso Caldera graduated in 2012 in Industrial Design at the Politecnico di Milano. Between 2008 and 2012 he worked as a Junior and Senior Designer in Odo Fioravanti's studio, before moving to New York for working in Jonathan Olivares' studio. Tommaso began his collaboration following two different guidelines: the requirement of editing few projects already at the prototype phase as well as the desire of designing specifically for the opening collection of Incipit.
