Authentic Vintage Stoneware Hanging Salt Crock

This authentic vintage blue and white stenciled wildflower salt box crock is still very much functional today and can be placed on countertops or butcher blocks or hung on a country farmhouse kitchen wall. It adds beauty and practicality to a primitive country and/or antique kitchen decor. The original stencil is in excellent vintage condition, as is the salt glaze, however there are some age related imperfections such as small chips in the glaze, with a couple of dime-sized spaces on the underside (please see photos for details). These imperfections add validity to the vintage authenticity without sacrificing the appeal of this primitive piece. Dimensions are 5.75" wide and 6.5" high at the highest point.

There is a lot of crazing in the interior bottom. There are two, 2" exterior glaze hairlines which do not go through. There is also a 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" X-shaped hairline on the back side of which only one small hard-to-see straight line shows on the inside.
