Ah, the Azuvell Empire. How Imizael adored her home, and her people. She had it all - the riches, the power given to her by a bloodline of sorcerers, and the future throne - which was to be shared with her and her brother, Luthais. Well . . . it WAS to be, before her brother got banished from the kingdom for his greed and his violence. Rumors spread quickly. What treasures had he stolen? What violent acts had he committed? Some claimed him to be a cannibal - and that claim spread like wildfire throughout the community and throughout the castle, until it burned at her feet. When there was no more to be said about her brother, her own people pointed their suspicions at her, instead. Why would Luthais leave her like this, to fend for herself in a crowd of vicious animals, hungry for revolution? One night, she packed up a few of her belongings and left her kingdom for good. She could not handle this sort of pressure. Not anymore. She survived on her own for weeks until she came across a small little town, far enough away from her home that she would not raise suspicion. There she stayed, until the day a group of adventurers came through, looking for individuals willing to put their talents to use to defeat the dark forces of the realm. At last - a way to redeem herself, a way to escape her past . . . this. This would do. A Knight of Justice? That had a lovely ring to it, didn't it?
