2.5 lbs (Fig. 1). Always keep the level of melted paraffin wax filled to the “MIN” level marked on the
inside of the tub. Fig. 4

5. Plug the unit into a 120V A/C household outlet.

6. Close the locking lid. Push power button. “Heating” light will flash while wax is melting (Fig. 2).
Most of the paraffin wax should melt in 2 hours.
7. “Ready” light will come on when wax is completely melted. Open the lid and carefully place the
grate into the wax and allow it to sink to the bottom of the tub (Fig. 3). The ParaSpa Plus unit is
designed to be used at room temperature. If the wax starts to solidify or flakes form on the top
surface, close lid and press power button.
NOTE: The temperature of the room can have an effect on the unit’s performance. Therefore we
always recommend testing the paraffin temperature on the inside of the wrist area before dipping Fig. 5

Maintenance:
Periodically, the used portion of paraffin wax should be replaced and the unit should be cleaned.
1. Unplug unit and remove grate. Allow paraffin wax to solidify overnight.

3. Wipe the inside of the unit with a disposable towel to remove residual dirt and paraffin.
4. With a damp, soapy cloth, wipe clean. DO NOT POUR WATER INTO THE UNIT, OR IMMERSE
THE UNIT IN WATER.
5. Store in a cool, dry place. When you are ready to re-use the ParaSpa Plus paraffin bath for the
next heat treatment, repeat steps 2–7, “How to set up the ParaSpa Plus unit”. Then, follow steps

kg (3 libras) y un mínimo de 1 kg (2,5 libras) de parafina derretida (Figura 1). Siempre mantenga el
nivel de parafina derretida en la marca “MIN” ubicada en el interior del recipiente.
5. Enchufe la unidad en un tomacorriente doméstico de 120V C/A.
6. Cierre la tapa de seguridad. Presione el botón de encendido. La luz “Heating” (calentando)
destella mientras la parafina se derrite (Fig. 2). La mayor parte de la parafina debería derretirse en Fig. 4

7. La luz “Ready” (listo) se enciende cuando la parafina se ha derretido por completo. Abra la tapa
y coloque cuidadosamente la rejilla dentro de la parafina y deje que se hunda hasta el fondo
del recipiente (Figura 3). La unidad ParaSpa Plus está diseñada para ser usada a temperatura
ambiente. Si la parafina comienza a solidificarse o forma escamas en la superficie, cierre la tapa y
oprima el botón de encendido.
NOTA: La temperatura ambiente puede ejercer un efecto en el rendimiento de la unidad. Por lo
tanto, siempre recomendamos probar la temperatura de la parafina sobre el interior del área de la
muñeca antes de sumergir toda su mano o codo.
NOTA: No abra NUNCA la tapa o bañe su mano, pie o codo mientras la luz “heating”

Mantenimiento:
Periódicamente, se debe reemplazar la porción de parafina usada y se debe limpiar la unidad.
1. Desenchufe la unidad y quite la rejilla. Deje que la parafina se solidifique durante la noche.

y parafina.
4. Limpie la unidad con un paño humedecido y enjabonado. NO VIERTA AGUA DENTRO DE LA
UNIDAD NI LA SUMERJA EN AGUA.
5. Guárdela en un lugar fresco y seco. Cuando esté listo para volver a usar el baño de parafina
