TV Article Ashton Kutcher clams up on Sheen return rumors to 'Two and a Half Men' By Teresa Jue Published on December 12, 2014 10:19PM EST Ashton Kutcher didn’t even have to say anything to start the rumors of Charlie Sheen’s return to Two and a Half Men. On Friday, Kutcher stopped by Ellen and discussion reared around the end of the series. Kutcher revealed that while they have not shot the end yet, he was pitched the story for the end of the show, which he said had him a “little terrified.” DeGeneres egged him on, asking point blank if Sheen was coming back to the show, which had Kutcher at a loss for words. Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, was killed off-screen after season eight when Sheen was fired from the show in 2011 after making controversial rants against showrunner Chuck Lorre and CBS. He then sued CBS, studio Warner Bros. and Lorre for the dismissal. Despite the burned bridges, Sheen has since told TV Guide that he’d be up for returning to the series. Kutcher has this to say in response to Sheen’s possible return: “If you’re working on the Warner Bros. lot, if there’s sirens, come save me.”
