Kristin Chenoweth is ready to think pink again.

The Broadway legend, best known for originating the role of Glinda in Wicked, is returning to her hot pink, rich girl climes as beauty queen, socialite and TV personality Jacqueline “Jackie” Siegel in the new musical Queen of Versailles — and Entertainment Weekly has your first look at Chenoweth and her costar, F. Murray Abraham, in costume.

The musical, based on the 2012 documentary of the same name by Lauren Greenfield, follows Jackie Siegel and her husband, David (Abraham), as they set out to build the largest private home in America, a $100 million house inspired by the Palace of Versailles. But as the Great Recession of 2008 looms, David and Jackie begin to discover the true cost of their lavish lifestyle — and all that comes with it.

Jackie envisions herself as the embodiment of the American Dream, with her rise from computer engineer to Mrs. Florida to billionairess. Married to David "The Timeshare King" Siegel and mother to their eight children, Jackie is intent on building the house of her dreams.

The show finds Chenoweth reuniting with Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz, who has penned both the music and lyrics. Lindsey Ferrentino (Ugly Lies the Bone) wrote the book, and Michael Arden (revivals of Parade, Spring Awakening) will direct with choreography by Lauren Yalango-Grant and Christopher Cree Grant (Parade).

Other cast includes Melody Butiu (Here Lies Love) as Sofia, Nina White (Kimberly Akimbo) as Victoria Siegel, Stephen DeRosa (Boardwalk Empire) as John, Greg Hildreth (Company) as Gary, Tatum Grace Hopkins as Jonquil, and Tony Award–nominee Isabel Keating (The Boy from Oz) as Debbie.

Chenoweth and Abraham will star in the show's world premiere at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston from July 16 through Aug. 25 in a limited six-week run. The musical has yet to set a Broadway opening date, but is certainly angling for a spot on the Great White Way in the future.
