EW's editorial guidelines Published on March 4, 2024 03:00PM EST The Masked Singer is headed to the land of Oz. The zany celebrity singing show is going all out to celebrate the 85th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, and EW has the exclusive first look. The shenanigans will all be part of season 11's first themed episode, which airs next Wednesday following this week's season premiere. Host Nick Cannon will kick things off by arriving to an Emerald City-inspired set in a giant hot air balloon (because of course he does). As they've done on many past themed nights, the panelists are all dressing up as various characters from the beloved film. Ken Jeong dons furry gloves and a wig as The Cowardly Lion, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg takes her crown as Glinda the Good Witch, Robin Thicke is seeing green as Oz, and Rita Ora takes a page out of the Nicole Scherzinger playbook with her take on Dorothy. LeAnn Rimes, returns to the stage to perform a special rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Take a peek at her performance below. Four new celebrities will also sing their hearts out and celebrate iconic moments from the legendary film. As if all that wasn't enough, all things Oz will also be interwoven through the episode, such as during the contestants’ walk out moments, clue packages, and more.
