Things took a dramatic turn Wednesday night on the season 10 finale of The Masked Singer. After Cow kicked things off with a showstopping performance of "Rhythm Nation" by Janet Jackson, and Gazelle brought the emotion with "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol, it was Sea Queen's turn to make her case for the Golden Mask Trophy with "Rescue Me" by Fontella Bass. In her clue package beforehand, she seemed to tease the drama to come in her performance. "I’m gonna be honest with you, wearing this costume hasn’t been all smooth sailing," she said. "I’m a seasoned performer, but I’m used to being myself on stage, and having to learn new songs and choreography all while wearing a giant mask has really stretched me as an entertainer." She continued, "It is hot in there! It is so claustrophobic, and this whole experience has made me feel nervous in a way that I haven’t in a long time. But I fought my way through it and I’m still here.” Sea Queen on 'The Masked Singer'. Michael Becker / FOX Right on cue, after her performance, she dramatically collapsed on stage and dropped the mic — literally. The panelists pointed out the obvious, that she needed someone to, as her song said, "rescue her." The Men in Black were happy to oblige and pulled her to her feet, and Sea Queen raised her arms above her head like a champion as they did so. She told the panel her collapse was on purpose, and even added of her time on the show, "It’s been amazing. I’ve been learning so much. It’s very challenging, but I feel like I’m a better entertainer now because of this show.” And as any good entertainer would do, Sea Queen proved she was fully committed to the bit a little later when she was revealed as the first finalist to be unmasked — and promptly fell over again. The panel had a few theatrics of their own on Wednesday night though: In what might be a Masked Singer finale first, all of the panelists joined together on their guess for Sea Queen. They all said she was singer and actress Macy Gray, and they weren't Ken Jeong Wrong; Sea Queen's legendary voice was indeed that of the Grammy-winning "I Try" singer and Training Day actress.
