It is just what was comfortable. A few things I have noticed. ✨ It keeps very consistent tension. This results in a cleaner end product. ✨ My hands don’t cramp up or hurt after hours of crocheting. The way my pointer acts as the tensioner, my fingers are loose and never clenched to hold tension. ✨ My thumb acts as the Take-up lever that helps pull yarn. Yes, my thumb has to move, but it becomes a rhythm that is easy and flows.
