⭐️ RAAS System 1️⃣ Renin Release: When blood pressure drops, the kidneys release renin. 2️⃣ Angiotensinogen to Angiotensin I: Renin converts angiotensinogen (from the liver) into angiotensin I. 3️⃣ Angiotensin I to Angiotensin II: The enzyme ACE (from the lungs) converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II 4️⃣ This leads to sodium and water reabsorption, vasoconstriction, and aldosterone release fro mthe kidneys (which promotes more reabsorption)
