Haley Gayoski. Due Date 11-18-18. This is a cute idea to do as a bell ringer or an exit slip to assess students' knowledge of addition. Each student will create a different equation and will not be able to copy off of another student so it serves as a fair assessment. A classroom management tip would be to reuse these to practice both addition and subtraction.

I like the idea of having children use their hands and physically be able to construct patterns in a way that seems more fun than worksheets but is just as educational.
