Me and my wife have been dreaming up and boiling down ideas for an eventual house build we want to do. Is this something that can be done in cob or balecob?

This home is designed for a big family who believes in spending time together in common areas rather than everyone hanging out in their bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms might be a little small, but there is ample space for study or craft areas and a huge great room where the whole family can find space to spread out. In some ways, this is an old-fashioned plan. However, the separate kitchen is making a comeback.

The Oberon, named for one of the moons of Uranus, is an 804-square-foot home. The flexibility of this size dome has resulted in several floor plan layouts created by our design department.
