Bailee Bigley | 3rd Grade on Instagram: "⭐️Flexible Seating ⭐️ Every Friday before we leave for the day students pick their spot for the following week. They sit there the entire week. They find their number and pick an open spot. My only rule is they can’t pick the same seat they sat in the week before unless it’s still open after everyone else has picked their spot. Flexible Seating works for some and doesn’t work for others. If it doesn’t work for you that’s okay! This works for me. Personally I don’t think I can ever go back to traditional seating. This helps students become more accountable for their learning because they chose their seat. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength.
