Today, I am gonna make a cute little Grinch arm. So, the first thing I have is a candy cane form from Dollar Tree. I have a Santa scarf also from Dollar Tree. I have an ornament that I just had around the house. I have some red ribbon that I also just had. I have some wire cutters. I have a swiffer mop head from Dollar Tree and I also have a car wash mitt from Dollar Tree. So, the First thing I did was cut the end of the Santa scarf off so that I could slide it up around the candy cane form. Once I had that up there and made sure I had enough of the material, I cut the bottom off and I folded under the fuzzy ends and then I hot glued it together. And there is a lot of fuzz. So once that was done, I took the red ribbon and I tied it on to the first uh rang above the end so that I could have it there later and I knew that it was secure and would hold my ornament. So, I just kinda put that aside while I went to work doing the other things. So, then, I cut out the bottom pieces of the candy cane form off. So, I did end up going through and cutting again uh so that I could get all the ends off so they didn't stick to my little glove. In the next pictures, you'll see there's still some stuff there because I had to go back and redo it. It wasn't working the way I wanted it to. So, this is what you want your finished thing to look like. Not those with the prongs on em. So, then I took my glove and I cut it into what was five fingers. Shook off the fuzz again. Uh glue those together except for the left finger, I left a little area in to stick the ribbon through. So, once I had that done, I went ahead and set it aside. Made sure my fingers were open enough on the end, took the red ribbon and ran it through the finger that I left the little hole in to get it out the bottom. You can do this anyway you want. I'm sure there's an easier way than me trying to stuff it down there. So, it's kind of a struggle to get those little fingers onto the wire and I left one finger off obviously cuz I was only four. So, once I got it on there, it just takes a few minutes. I glued the top of the mitt down to each one of the wires and I really kinda pushed it in there so it didn't go anywhere. Then, I pulled up the Santa scarf and I folded it in and I glued it down as close as I could get to the fuzzies on the on the car mitt. So once that was complete and I made sure I got it in there pretty good. Just I mean I don't think anything's gonna fall off but I always make sure. So then I took that sweeper head and I cut um just a strip of it out. Now, if you find these sweeper heads and you don't use fur, if you have fur, great, use that. This sweeper head is fuzzy. When you cut it, there's fuzz everywhere. So, I started from the back so I couldn't see my seam when I hang it up and I just hot glued it all the way around and that gave me the fur on the end of the Santa suit. So, you can see I've got my fingers and I've got my string. So, I just went ahead and put that ball on there for the end of. So, he has, he's holding the ornament and I tied it and I cut off the excess. I went ahead and glued that little part that I had left open for the uh the ornament to come through. You could use pipe cleaner as well. That way, you could kind of move it. It was pretty hard to get into the camera screen but it turned out really cute and I really hope you guys like it a lot and If you like my crafts, come follow Dandelion Pickin on Facebook. Thank you.
