In a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, ❌we don’t pour the tea directly to the cups from teapot but ✅rather to a pitcher (also known as fairness cup) first, this is to ensure that everyone gets the exact same brew with the same tea concentration. ⁣ 2. When filling tea cups for guests, we ❌don’t fill the teacups to 100% full, ✅70%-80% is more than enough. This is to ensure your guests have the best experience to avoid accidentally serving overly hot tea in an overfilled cup. ⁣ 3. Tea spout - ❌we don’t point the tea spout directly towards people as it can be seen as a sign of disrespect. ✅Point it away from people to show respect. ⁣ ⁣ Stay tuned for more Chinese tea
