Crazy quilts - block by block - are little works of art. They often tell a story. In this case, this quilt from Utah (in the US) tells the story of pioneer women coming to the state in the 1800s. The quilt dates to ca.1893-1900. Can you make out the log cabin, the bee skep, the church, the anchor, the bird? The list goes on as there's so much to look at. The quilt is in the collection of the Utah Department of Heritage & Arts, but is no longer visible on their website.
