Bird tattoo

Norse themed (like my Yggdrasil tattoo) sleeve, two ravens. Symbols of: communication between this world and 'beyond' (outside human knowledge), messengers of mystery; the valkyries; emissaries of Odin, Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (memory) told him all they had seen on their travels. Crows/ravens are very intelligent. Image will be semi-heraldic to incorporate British medieval imagery. Meaning = psychology, history, intelligence, mystery, communication, goddesses.

Raven Pair
Did you know that Ravens not only remember people who help them, but also that they tell their friends about the kindness? In field studies, researchers have observed that whenever a human assists a raven or crow in trouble, the entire community of these corvids, not just the bird that was helped, becomes generally friendlier toward and more trusting of the human benefactor. Smart birds indeed!
