When doing anterior bridges sometimes it is tempting to double abut one end of the bridge. Be careful because you don't want to create a Class 1 Lever. The middle abutment of a three abutment bridge will become a lever. The longer lever with the most force will push down causing the fulcrum to lift the other end which will break the seal of the cemented crown. You see this all the time. The short lever abutment first will lift up, break the cementation seal, and the crown starts leaking.
