361K views · 21K reactions | Avocado Paneer Bao I have made today Avocado Paneer Bao. It is very healthy and tasty recipe. If you are looking for a no oil recipe, then this is the perfect option. I have made this today with 100% wheat flour. Ingredients: For the Dough: - 1 cup wheat flour - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp sugar powder - 1/3 cup water (lukewarm) - 1 tsp active dry yeast For the Avocado Spread: - 2 ripe avocados - 2 tbsp fresh curd - 2 cloves garlic - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 tsp lemon juice For the Paneer Fry: - 150 gm paneer cubes - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp chilli flakes - 1 tbsp chopped green coriander - 1 Tsp Oil Instructions: Dough Preparation: - In a bowl, take lukewarm water, add sugar powder, and dissolve completely. Add active dry yeast and let it rest for 5-10 minutes to activate the yeast. - In a separate bowl, take wheat flour. Add salt and the activated yeast water. Mix and knead well to form a soft dough. - Place the dough in a glass container, cover it with a lid, and let it rest for 2 hours. Avocado Spread: - Carefully cut and scoop out the ripe avocados into a jar. - Add fresh curd, garlic, salt, and lemon juice. Blend for a minute to create a smooth avocado spread. Bao Preparation: - After 2 hours, take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a thick layer. - Apply oil to the surface of the dough and fold it. Repeat for all portions of dough. - Place the prepared layers in a steaming container and steam for 10-15 minutes. Once done, remove from container Paneer Fry: - Heat oil in a pan. Once hot, add paneer cubes and sauté for a minute. - Add salt, mixed herbs, chilli flakes, and chopped green coriander. Mix well and set aside.
