DENIMS: Upcycled. Reinvented. Refashioned. Embellished. Repurposed.

Have you ever thought how much more the old denims lying around your closet can serve you? Many of us, in most cases, would rather keep them for years especially when we are so attached to a certain thing due to some kind of sentimental reasons. I mean, I totally understand that letting go is really one of the hardest things to do. For the others with more generous hearts, denims that won’t fit anymore or have gone out of style are either being donated or passed on to willing individuals. One of the most wonderful things I would be forever grateful for is the birth of the (DIY) Do It Yourself idea. I sincerely am a huge fan of this concept. Let me take you through my beautiful journey doing DIY stuff, how I have creatively reinvented and transformed old denims in so many unique ways, eventually turning them into somthing useful as well. Over the last 6 or 7 years, thereabouts, I have discovered I am gifted with so much patience for doing crafts, most especially, handsewn stuff. As I was going through my DIY album on upcycled, reinvented, refashioned, embellished, repurposed denims, It’s amazing to realize I have done so much making use of it. Admittedly, finding any available piece of denim at home has affected me to become passionate about recreating things into something more beautiful. Let me inspire you and share with you my denim collections captured in photographs. I have created each piece with patience coupled with love while carefully executing an idea I had in mind. It didn’t cost me a single centavo, moreso, my creativity worked around any available material that has a strong potential to bring a perfect end result. So, the next time you think about giving up those denims, think again. Denims have unlimited beneficial purposes. I am happy to inspire people:)) Happy viewing and be inspired
