  1. Devotion to Cinema: Members vow to honor and revere all forms of film, from blockbusters to obscure indies. Watching films in their entirety, without distraction, is a sacred duty.
  2. Screening Ritual: Members must view the monthly screenings, either in person or virtually. Each member shall enthusiastically watch with expressions of awe, horror, or laughter as permitted by the genre.
  3. Breaking the 4th Wall: Members agree to engage in frequent philosophical discussions on the nature of cinema, characters, and what separates fiction from reality. This includes but is not limited to debates about meta-narratives, character awareness, and the limits of storytelling.
  4. The Spoiler Oath: Members are bound by a strict non-spoiler code. Sharing spoilers with non-members or new initiates is forbidden, punishable by being relegated to watch only the trailers of beloved films.
  5. Excommunication Clause: Any member found to be disparaging film without adequate reasoning, abandoning screenings, or committing acts of severe disrespect to cinema (like leaving a film before the credits) will be subject to review by the High Curators and may face suspension.
By agreeing below, you acknowledge that you accept all terms and will uphold the legacy and traditions of The Order of the 4th Wall. You shall remain a loyal acolyte, devoted to cinema, and work tirelessly to preserve the 4th Wall.
