Spinach and Cheese Puff Pastry Rolls: A Savory Treat! Ingredients: 300g fresh spinach 3 tbsp olive oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 egg (for filling) Salt, to taste 1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground 250g ricotta cheese #Spinach #Puff
‎‏SPINACH AND FETA PASTRIES 1 x sheet puff pastry ‎‏Filling: ‎‏120g frozen spinach ‎‏1 x small onion (half large) ‎‏3 x garlic cloves ‎‏Mixed herbs, salt & pepper 1/2 x cup water ‎‏200g feta cheese crumbled ‎‏50g grated mozzarella ‎‏1 x egg separated (white will mix into filling, yolk to brush the pastry) ‎‏Sesame seeds ‎‏Pre heat oven to 180C ‎‏Making filling: ‎‏Fry onion and garlic for a few minutes till tender. add in soinach. herbs. salt ‎‏and pepper and the water and fry until the water has evaporated. Cool down, for quickest cooling spread on a large plate and put in the freezer, should take 5 min this way. Once cooled add in the cheese and egg white and mix well. ‎‏Spread the mixed filling over the pastry sheet and roll it up,
