We use Einkorn Flour, which is rich in nutrients and can be broken down by the body better than processed breads. Einkorn is an ancient grain. It tastes just like wheat and we use it to make banana bread, pizza crust, and biscuits for our strawberries! We do not add any sugar to anything. We sweeten the biscuits a tad with a little maple syrup. Strawberries are delicious by themselves. The boys like a little raw or organic milk in theirs. I like mine plain. The biscuits are so easy. Honestly just Einkorn flour, baking powder, a little organic/raw butter, organic/raw milk, a pinch of salt, a little maple syrup and plop them

It’s an ancient grain that the body can break down much better than other processed flours. I have three growing boys. Healthy grains can be very nourishing. Most flours on the market are bleached and then synthetic nutrients are added back in. I know they do it for preservation, but come on. It’s not real food then. I do tweak mine a little with using a tiny bit of maple syrup to the crust and I use raw milk or organic whole milk and butter because it keeps the crust together better.
