Kara Weatherall | Learning through play on Instagram: "Flower soup 🌻🌷🪻 Sometimes the most simple ideas are the most fun. 🙏🏼 One of my beautiful friends dropped off some flowers last week and they were starting to look a little sad, so we decided to add them to some water and make flower soup. It literally took me 2mins to fill up our tuff tray from @thecreativetoyshop with some water and a little cornflour to make it cloudy, and throw in the flowers. We also added some spoons and bowls so we could make some flower soup. What I loved the most about this was it was an activity that entertained all three of the boys (Mr 1,Mr 3 and Mr6) for at least 45mins, and then the clean up entertained them even longer. It had been over a week since we had done any sort of sensory/messy play be Flower Sensory Bin For Toddlers, Flower Soup Sensory, Water Sensory Bin Ideas, Water Tuff Tray, Messy Play Activities Preschool, Water Tuff Tray Ideas, Flower Activities For Toddlers, Sensory Tuff Tray Ideas, Sensory Tray Ideas

Engaging Elodie on Instagram: "Save Superworm! 🪱🌼

Elodie loved this simple messy play activity! She used the tweezers to pick out the ‘worms’ then enjoyed exploring the ‘mud’ with her hands!

We love all the Julia Donaldson books but Superworm is definitely a favourite at the moment! 💛

Taste Safe Sensory Mud Recipe
⭐️ One cup of flour
⭐️ 5 tablespoons of coco powder (add more if you would like a darker colour)
⭐️ 5 tablespoons of oil (I used oil olive)

Mix the ingredients together in a large bowl and you are ready to go! The oil gives the mud a great consistency and makes it slightly stick together. It’s great for little hands to mould and create things! 💡

⚠️Bake the flour for 15 minutes and stir halfway to make sure any germs have been killed.
