For the hat, you need a circle of fabric with a diameter of 10 cm (4”) and a strip of fabric with dimensions of 5x32.5 cm (2”x12.75”). Sew both ends of strip together and then sew it onto the circle. If you can’t sew a strip of fabric perfectly, that’s okay. It doesn’t matter at all in the finished hat. I sometimes sew it on purpose with folding to make it more spongy-er. Turn over, stitch by hand in the edges and pull. Then sew on the head. You are only stitching one layer of the hat.
