Try watercolor lettering with a flat brush! It’s a great way to practice block lettering with paint. I prefer using liquid watercolor just because it’s easier to work with. Here are some tips on using a flat paint brush: • Go slow! Your hand will probably shake. Mine does but breathe through it and try to letter slower than normal. This will help give your letters clean lines. • For curves like in the letter “R” feel free to lift up your paint brush and adjust the placement of your paper. It took me several angles to get the curve how I wanted. • Try overlapping the letters to have the watercolor blend into each other. This is also a great way to not worry about the spacing of your letters. You can also vary the size. • Add an outline and/or shadows to your letter. I love doing th
