This is a throwback to an amazing night in Seattle when I went to see Hope Sandoval at the Neptune theater in October, 2017. Her set wasn't perfect, due to some sound issues and some problems backstage with the staff. Some folks left after the 50 minute delay but those who stayed were treated to some wonderful music and a beautiful performance. I stayed after thinking if only I could meet one of my favorite musicians of all time. Myself and a few stuck thru the chill of the oncoming fall air, and Hope came out of her tour bus and thanked us all for coming to the show, also how could we stay outside where it's so cold? She was so sweet and offered some free merch and spoke to each person I individually as there about 6 of us. I asked if she could take a picture with me and she said of course. Her manager was adamant about refusing anyone wanting to take photos but she wanted to. So I got this photo which is the coolest ever. And yeah, she is tiny compared to my gigantic head. Hahahahahaha (I wasn't sure if I was going to post this but I just felt like sharing something.
