Event's Concept: similar to the Japanese customs of admiring the view of the moon (tsukimi) or sakura blossoms (hanami), Kakaobimi is our festival celebrating Kakashi♡Obito in all their facets. So think of this event as a lovely Japanese-like festival where other participants' works are tasty treats, fun activities, or pretty fireworks ✨ Despite the festive motives, we welcome all kinds of themes and visions for Kakashi and Obito as a duo, friends, lovers, rivals, enemies, happy or sad, traumatized or healthy 😁And we use obkk/kkob tags interchangeably without any couple dynamics implications.
Type of submissions: any kkob/obkk centered fanart, comics, fanfiction, playlists, doodles, headcanons, mood boards, poetry, any form of creativity is welcome!
Platforms: our main platforms are tumblr and AO3, but we will share the event's info on twitter and bluesky too, in case some of you want to participate there! (the AO3 collection will be created a week before the event starts.)
How to participate: tag your submission #kkobweek2025 and mention @kkobweek. ❗Please note: sometimes tumblr dot com is being naughty, and we might not get a mention notification, or your post might not appear in tags we monitor, so it's totally cool of you to send us an ask or contact @cool-thymus in case we're not rbing your submission within a day or two 😎🙏
❕NSFW content is allowed, but make sure your work is tagged and rated accordingly (minor/adult NSFW content is not allowed).
Prompts: for this year's event we have the main prompt list, which includes daily prompts, and a small bingo card. 📃Daily prompts: each day is assigned two prompts, so you can choose one or do both (in one work or separately), the usual 😉 🧧Bingo card: it's a bonus challenge with extra prompts! If you do 3 prompts (a row, column or diagonal), you get a small prize from the mods (we'll tell you what it is later 😶🌫️✨). The bingo card is also there in case you're not inspired by the main prompt list. The works based on Bingo prompts can be posted on any day of the event!
Late submission period: we will be accepting late submissions for two weeks after the event is over (up until May 12).

The blab: fuck where do I start. Ugh. Okay so little orphan obito and poor madara who used to have little siblings who would bug him and stuff cuz he’s the big brother and they’d all flock to him but now they’re all Dead even izuna which is So So sad. And back to little orphan obito like. Girl he doesn’t know what to do around other people. Epsfially like. Guardians. He just never had that shit BUT NOW he’s been disfigured AND sent into the past??? he didn’t have much before but now he doesn’t even have FAMILIAR PLACE/HOME.But that aside like he’s kinda lucky with this guy who’s taken care of him which is good but like. what.
