Power user have to find by trial and error what the auto settings are.
Auto settings are a big strength of Retrobat but having more transparency on what they are set to, allows us to more easily set things and propose changes to better Retrobat.

On a side note, a similar example are the shaders, one has to look up the .yml file to get a better understanding of how they are set.
The handheld shader being an interesting case where each handheld is color corrected AND a CRT shader is used for non-handheld platforms. The opposite is true for scanline. Those are very interesting choices but it's invisible to the user.
