https://github.com/downloads/loopj/android-async-http/android-async-http-1.3.0.jar does not work with all given examples since they expect AsyncHttpClient to have no argument constructor.

Use android-async-http-1.3.1.jar instead

you may wish to update the link from here http://loopj.com/android-async-http/. There's no obvious way to find 1.3.1.
