New Project Badges
Starting today, go and get the brand new badges for your open-source projects!
You will find the badges at the bottom of your project home page. 3 formats are available:
the widely-spread badge that will nicely fit in the README file of your repository. You can select a bunch of metrics (technical debt, coverage, reliability rating, …) that you want to display.
a “Quality Gate” nice card that will better fit on the official website of your open-source project. The card will turn to green or red, so that you know wether or not your source code can be released.
a generic “Scanned on SonarCloud” badge to simply advertise that you care about the quality of what you deliver to your users.
Those badges are currently available only for public projects. Having them for private ones will come later.
Note for users who are already using badges from SonarCloud: as you will notice, the URL of the new badges is different from the one you are currently using. The old URL is deprecated as of today, and will be removed on Monday April, 2nd. Please update your README files!
we should use “Scanned on SonarCloud” , I do not want to see red badges on our home page, ones we fix all, we should use "widely-spread badge"
