Current Behavior

Unable to create a template from starter template "Docker (Devcontainer)"

Relevant Log Output

- Installed coder/envbuilder v1.0.0 (unauthenticated)
Error: Failed to query available provider packages
Could not retrieve the list of available versions for provider coder/coder:
no available releases match the given constraints >= 0.17.0, ~> 1.0.0
To see which modules are currently depending on coder/coder and what versions
are specified, run the following command:
    terraform providers

Expected Behavior

The template should be able to be created from "Docker (Devcontainer)" starter template

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new template from starter templates
  2. Selected "Docker (Devcontainer)" from starter templates
  3. Encountered the error

Environment

  • Host OS: Linux Docker
  • Coder version: 2.20.0

Additional Context

Hi @matifali, Yes, it is reproducible, even now.

We are running Coder in an air-gapped environment.

I am also facing the issue (running coder via the docker image, latest fetched today which is 26d old). I think 614a7d0 should address the problem.

Yes, it should be fixed by #17553. I will reopen if the problem persists.
