As a use, I want the ability to enter a description for my workspaces so that I can record why the workspace exists and other information about the workspace.

Descriptions are useful when describing a resource to people that didn't create the resource. That is not the case for workspaces, and we've never heard this request in v1. Thus, I'll close the issue until market validation says otherwise.
