@danielgtaylor Do you need additional maintainers? We use this project quite a bit at Aiven, likely could find volunteers here to help you out.

Sorry folks, the project is not dead. Many people including myself use it every day and it mostly works for my needs. My limited free time has mostly been spent on https://github.com/danielgtaylor/huma but Restish is obviously in need of some love soon. It's on my list.

Would love some additional maintainers if anybody wants to help!

Some things I'd love to do:

• Catch up on issues/PRs and do a maintenance release
• Strip out interactive config in favor of schema-supported plain JSON/YAML. Third party tools could provide interactive terminal or browser UI for configuring. Figure out a way to have single command configs for easy API setup.
• Re-evaluate hook points to enable more third-party packages to add things like auth and other processors/formats without needing it in the core.
• Re-think some of the auto-pagination defaults
• Add support for Server Sent Events and other streaming protocols, ideally with JSON highlighting
