Hi is it possible to get a same visitorId for different browsers on the same machine? I just need a relative accuracy, say 90% sure they are from the same machine just one from chome and another from firefox/IE. I notice this issue was opened/closed in 2015 #10 and it said no But I was wondering if that is possbile in 2021 ? Thanks Qiulang |

I am getting the same visitorid across Chrome and Edge on the same machine. In my use case, I'd actually like these to be different. Is it perhaps because they are both using the Chromium engine? Is there a way to make them different? |

Hi, @qiulang!
No, this is not the use case for this library. The result fingerprint/hash is generated from the unique signals from the browser, not the machine (hence browser fingerprinting).
