It would be useful to be able to extract the data in a machine readable stable format , so it can be used by other tools.

If the same data format was able to be loaded, it would allow users to slice and dice and edit the data in other tools before pushing it back into github-changelog-generator .

That would allow users to implement their own "partial" #209 , and solve other similar problems themselves, but use this tool for the hard part of collating and cross-referencing the data.
