Description
👋🏼 Hi, we enrolled for https://githubnext.com/projects/copilot-for-pull-requests and got access (https://github.com/livechat/).
👮🏼 Our legal department spotted some worrying (at least from our perspective) legal provisions. Could you please review the following message?
In a sentence 13. “ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This Agreement together with the GitHub Privacy Statement, and any other terms GitHub may provide, represent the entire agreement for the pre-release software. This Agreement supersedes any proposal, communication, or prior agreement oral or written, between you and GitHub relating to pre-release software. GitHub reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time without prior notice to you”.
We would like to request the following for clarity and to facilitate our compliance:
- specify all relevant documents applicable to us to proceed with the agreement
- if not feasible, we propose removing the phrase “and any other terms GitHub may provide.” This is because it's challenging for us to acknowledge or agree to undefined or unknown terms at the time of our commitment.
We intend to ensure a transparent understanding and a smooth continuation of our partnership. Thank you
❓ If I should address this question somewhere else, please point me in the correct direction as I haven't found other way to contact GitHub Next team.
