GIST OF ISSUE:
Page has been deleted/moved that is referenced by multiple different sources of guidance relating to legacy intentions.
ISSUE OUTLINE:
Lack of meaningful guidance when seeking to follow legacy guidance relating to custom integration via HACS (Home Assistant Community Store): https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/hacs Alas, the page appears to have been deleted...
SUGGESTION:
It would be meaningful for such a potent resource to have a meaningful redirection. There are likely to be a number of heritage integrations impaired by this change. For new HA users it can be confusing to locate content to help learn and to make progress (=likely to cause frustration due to good legacy documentation no longer being up-to-date with the change to HACS status).
There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved.

Furthermore, a search for "HACS" on HASSIO website leads to documentation relating to Quality Scale:
