How to change demand style of vips image loaded from disc? #4391

Hi, I am running an operation and saving an image to disc using I need to save the image to disc, because it is a large image and I need the image to be read top to bottom multiple times to process a list of other images. How and where do I make any changes? |

Hello @prasadbandodkar, Demand styles are set by operations, not by the user, so you shouldn't ever need to change them. The dhint metadata item just records the style that was used for the last pipeline. It has no effect on processing. I think you need to give more detail about what you're trying to do. |

I changed the demand style of the operation before the file is saved and it worked fine. Thanks again! |

The dhint metadata item just records the style that was used for the last pipeline. It has no effect on processing.
