Summary

The bug reported in #28873 was introduced by #28073 and was fixed in #29552.

Since #29552 is marked with the 3.11.0 milestone, it has been merged into the main branch but has not yet been backported to 3.10.x. As a result, the issue persists in version 3.10.1.

Could you backport #29552 to the 3.10.x branch?
